Southern Alberta Library Conference
March 20-21, 2015
Lethbridge Lodge Hotel & Conference Centre
With challenges such as changing technology, limited budgets, and environmental emergencies, the need for collaboration between libraries and like-minded organizations for the sake of our patrons and stakeholders is more important than ever. What services and resources have been requested? What can we do for our community that hasn’t been thought of before? Can we better serve our people by cultivating new partnerships, or reviving old ones? Who would benefit from becoming involved with your library? Invite them to build with you.
The SALC Planning Committee invites session proposals that highlight ways in which libraries are building together – with individuals, local for-profit and not-for-profit organizations, and government. We encourage proposals that appeal to library staff at libraries large and small. The Committee also welcomes proposals of specific relevance to library trustees.
All concurrent sessions are 75 minutes in length.
Please fill out the online form to submit a proposal.
